Delve into the richness of Malay heritage through Heritage on the Plate & Screen! 

This year, Persatuan Bahasa Melayu Universiti Kebangsaan Singapura (PBMUKS) and NUS Malay Studies Society (NUSMSS) are bringing you an interactive, hands-on experience like no other. Discover age-old traditions and cultural stories through a series of engaging workshops led by cultural storyteller Hafiz Rashid and celebrity chef Mel Dean. From food to performance, this is your chance to connect with heritage in meaningful and exciting ways. 

Don’t miss this celebration of culture, identity, and creativity! This event is sure to offer something for all, regardless of your age and background!

Workshop 1: World of Folktales (Dunia Dongeng)
Location: One Punggol Multi-Purpose Room 1, Level 4
Time: 10AM - 11AM
Programme Fee: Free

Workshop 2: Tracing the Flavours of the Nusantara (Jejaki Rasa Nusantara)
Location: One Punggol Culinary Studio, Level 4
Time: 12PM - 2PM
Programme Fee: $10/pax

Workshop 3: Rhythm of Stories (Rentak Riwayat)
Location: One Punggol Multi-Purpose Room 1, Level 4
Time: 2PM - 3.30PM
Programme Cost: Free

Kindly note that no refund or exchange of tickets is allowed under any circumstance except for programme cancellation. Registration will open 30 minutes before each workshop. The programme will begin on time.

Participant(s) for Workshop 1 must be accompanied by their parents/guardians.
