Description

Did you know that there is a pink void deck in Clementi? Step into the night and uncover the rich heritage of Clementi through a guided photo walk and  mobile photography workshop. Led by our HAN Heritage Champions, participants will explore iconic landmarks such as the Aquarium Block at 328 Clementi Avenue 2 and Clementi Avenue 2 Neighbourhood Centre. 

The session includes a hands-on night photography workshop using mobile phones, where you’ll learn essential camera settings, framing techniques, and creative styles like light trails, starbursts, and neon portraits. Discover how to capture Clementi’s charm and history through your lens.

Important Notes for Participants

Kindly note that no refund or exchange of tickets is allowed under any circumstance except for programme cancellation. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the programme. The programme will begin on time. The tour will proceed in the event of wet weather, and all participants are advised to bring an umbrella/raincoat. The tour may, however, be cancelled due to inclement weather (e.g. hazardous haze conditions, flooding etc.) or due to other unforeseen circumstances affecting the tour (e.g. road closures etc.), and participants will be informed. 

The duration of the walking tour is about 1.5 hours. Participants are recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes, light clothes suitable for the weather, as well as to bring along a bottle of water, an umbrella and their smartphone with power bank.

Parents/guardians must accompany any child under the age of 12, and must buy their own ticket if so.

By registering for this programme, participants agree:
a) that the personal information supplied will be strictly used for the purposes stated above;
b) that the programme organiser(s) may take photographs and/or videos of them (or their child as applicable) and use the images and/or videos including to archive, exhibit and publish them for publicity; and 
c) for the programme organiser(s) to contact them regarding the programme that they have signed up for, as well as other communication that may be of interest to them.
