The following activities can be enjoyed at the Level 1 Atrium:
Complimentary access
· Peranakan exhibition (daily from 4 – 20 July) with instagram-worthy photo opportunities: A captivating replica of a baba mansion, kebaya try-ons, vertical spices garden, kebaya showcase from Emerald Hill hit series, and charming oversized food replicas.
· Vibrant performances:
- A Tapestry of Peranakan Culture (5 July, 4pm)
- Treasured Melodies: Songs of Our Land (5 July, 5pm)
· Arts & crafts workshop (weekends): Creative kueh air-clay craft workshops, tile painting sessions, beads to tile souvenir-making with limited seats per hour.
· Free activity kit for children and ice cream upon completion of stamps challenge.
· Meet & greet session with the star-studded cast of Emerald Hill, a hit series by Mediacorp (12 July, 3pm-4pm).
Ticketed access
· Opening ceremony (5 July, 3pm-5pm): A Peranakan tea-party supported by Katong Culture, under the Heritage Activation Node @ Katong-Joo Chiat. The tea party is admissible for free for those in kebaya and batik attire.
