This window grille is from Ban Lian Pawnshop, which was formerly situated at Rochor Centre. Rochor Centre was an iconic socio-cultural landmark in Singapore, known for its brightly coloured facades of differing shades of blue, green, red and yellow. In November 2011, it was announced that Rochor Centre would be demolished to make way for the new 21.5 km North-South Expressway (NSE) and the development of the Ophir-Rochor Corridor.
