Rochor Centre was a mixed commercial and residential estate built in 1976 as part of plans to house citizens who had rapidly been displaced by redevelopment efforts across Singapore. Rochor Centre was known for its iconic bright colours (red, green, blue and yellow), which were painted on its flats during the Interim Upgrading Programme in 1994.
