Such bricks with stamped or relief carving of lozenge shapes, figurines and mythical animals are common and distinctive of the Han.Han tiles and bricks with embossed or stamped designs were quite common on the walls of Han tombs and buildings. They often depict a wide spectrum of Han life, like acrobatic performances, horseback riding, dancing etc, enriching one’s knowledge of the period.
