Year in Review is Yale-NUS College’s report, published annually between 2014 and 2018. This report was released in 2017 and features the Halcyon mascot on the cover. Its title, “Halcyon takes Flight”, was in reference to the graduation of the inaugural class of 2017. The class of 2017 wore a new graduation gown which included a sash designed by a student from the same graduating class, Natalie Tan. It was also the only graduation gown in Singapore to include a sash.In line with the title of this issue, 2017’s report featured the achievements of the graduating class and the various pathways they took after graduation, including taking up positions in the public and private sectors, fellowships or continuing their studies in graduate schools.
