An Instructional Book for Members of the Chinese Nationalist Party (Zhong Guo Guo Min Dang Dang Yuan Xu Zhi 中国国民党党员须知)

This is an instructional book intended for members of the Chinese Nationalist Party or Kuomintang (中国国民党) based in Malaya. The book begins with the history and motivations of the Kuomintang. The book informs its readers about the expectations and rules required of party members. The book was printed by Hur Ping Press (He Ping Yin Wu Guan 和平印务馆) in Johor Bahru. In the 1940s, Hur Ping Press was owned by Wong Tat Chee, a graduate of the Chinese University of Shanghai and an ‘intelligentsia’ of the Communist Party in Johor Bahru. Hur Ping Press moved from Johor Bahru to Singapore in 1947.
