Remy Ong’s autographed jacket from the 2002 Asian Games in Busan where he won three gold medals for bowling in the Singles, Trios and Masters events

This autographed blazer jacket was worn by Singaporean bowler Remy Ong during the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, where he captained the men’s national bowling team and won three gold medals for in the men’s singles, trios and masters events. In the same year, Ong was ranked number one in Asia and came second in the prestigious AMF Bowling World Cup. Ong was back in Busan in 2006 for the WTBA World Tenpin Bowling Championships, where he won the men’s singles and all-events titles. He has donated his men’s singles gold medal from this championship as well. Ong was voted Sportsman of the Year at the Singapore Sports Awards in 2003 and 2007, and bestowed the Singapore Youth Award by the National Youth Council in 2003 for his achievements.
