Writing board used by Lee Kuan Yew

This writing board was custom-made by Mr Ho Pak Yean, an employee of the Public Works Department of Singapore (PWD, now known as CPG Corporation), for Mr Lee Kuan Yew upon his request around the time when he was writing his memoirs in the 1990s. Mr Lee used the board at his office desk to read documents, amend draft memoirs and letters, and sign day-to-day documents, his memoirs, and other publications. The writing board was placed on his office desk up until Mr Lee’s last days in the office.
