Certificate of interrogation of prisoner of war at the end of World War II

This certificate is proof of an interview between a British intelligence officer and Albert Riley, a British prisoner of war (POW), almost a month after the official surrender of the Japanese in Singapore. This was probably conducted prior to Riley's return the United Kingdom.Albert Riley held the rank of Private in the 196 Field Ambulance unit (part of the Royal Army Medical Corps) and later became a prisoner of war at the Changi Prison. Fortunately, he survived the imprisonment and hardship, and eventually returned to Britain after the surrender of the Japanese.
