This Leica camera has a black body and is attached with a rotational nickle-finished Elmar lens. The Leica Standard was available in shops like Singapore Photo Co. which was located at High Street in 1935.Before the advent of the portable camera in the late 19th century, the taking of photographs was limited to the studio. However portable cameras remained affordable only to the rich until the first decades of the 20th century.
