This is a characteristic Insana style cloth with a wide indigo dyed centrefield and fine lines of colour flanked by two brightly coloured ikat panels intricately dyed with floral and geometric designs. It would have been known as a beti, a type of cloth worn by men either wrapped around the waist or draped over the shoulders.
