Historical Relics of the Old East India Company

This print was published in the Illustrated London News on 30 August 1890. It features, clockwise from top left, the mantelpiece formerly in the Directors’ court-room of the old East India House, the old East India House on Leadenhall Street (1648-1726), the old Crosby House at Bishopsgate occupied by the East India Company from 1621 to 1638, the re-faced East India House on Leadenhall Street in 1726, and obverse and reverse views of the Great Seal of the Commonwealth (1651) appended to a warrant of Oliver Cromwell.
