This print depicts the East India Company’s fleet of transport and warships at Bombay Harbour, before their sending off for the Persian Gulf in the Anglo-Persian War. This print was published in the 3 January 1857 issue of the Illustrated London News to complement an article titled “The Persian Expedition in the Gulf of Bombay”.
