One of the earliest roads in Singapore, North Bridge Road was built by manual convict labourers. It is a historical street that housed a few of Singapore's pioneer cinemas, such as Odeon Cinema and Capitol Theatre. Other landmarks, including the Raffles Hotel and CHIJMES, are also found along this road.
