'Re-arranging Planks' by Chua Tiag Ming

Chua Tiag Ming (T. M. Chua) was a photographer involved in the salon photography movement in Singapore in the 1960s and 1970s. During this period, he documented various aspects of labour in Singapore, especially the vanishing trades. This photograph is framed by the planks in the foreground, and emphasizes the partial silhouette of the lone labourer involved in re-arranging planks.
