Titled 'People in S'pore Make News', this article about the people who worked and lived in Singapore, was published in The Singapore Free Press in 1947. The Singapore Free Press was Singapore's second English language newspaper (the first being the Singapore Chronicle) that as first published in October 1835. It was bought over by The Straits Times in 1946 and merged with The Malay Mail in 1962.
