The Qila-i-Kuhna Mosque, found inside the Purana Qila (Old Fort) of Delhi, was constructed during the interval in the Sur dynasty by Afghan emperor Sher Shah Suri in 1541 after he captured the Fort and Agra city.Purana Qila (Old Fort) was built by the Mughal emperor Humayun in 1533 on the site of the legendary city of Indraprastha. It is one of the oldest monuments in Delhi.
