This is a small version of the Yale-NUS College flag, launched in 2018 as a symbol of the institution’s identity. The flag features college’s blue and orange colours, as well as its Halcyon (a blue-eared kingfisher) logo. A larger version of the flag was loaned for display at sporting events and institutional events such as conferences and symposiums. Established in 2011, Yale-NUS College was the first liberal arts college in Singapore and one of the only few in Asia. It is the first institution outside of New Haven, Connecticut that Yale University has developed in its history. Yale-NUS College’s last batch of students is the Class of 2025. While the college continues to operate for these students, it has already begun transitioning as part of its merger with the NUS University Scholars Programme (USP), forming the NUS College as of 20 February 2023.
