Former First Lady Noor Aishah was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1933. She was married to Singapore’s first president, Yusof Ishak, and together they had three children. Noor Aishah was active in charity work and was the patron to several organisations, such as the Red Cross, Young Muslim Association and Singapore Girl Guides.
