This passport is a record of Ahmad bin Mohamed Ibrahim's travels during his tenure as the first Advocate-General of the State of Singapore (1959-1965). He later served as the first Attorney-General of the Republic of Singapore (1965-1967). He played a pivotal role in drafting the Women's Charter, Intestate Succession Act, Administration of Muslim Law Act (AMLA), and other statutes. He also lent his legal expertise in the merger talks in London (1963).
