This document is a letter from Mr Lall Singh, a Police Constable who served with the Sikh Contingent in Singapore from 1931 to 1946, to the Police Commissioner asking for his allowance for the period of his last leave to be disbursed as he wished to settle in Singapore permanently rather than returning to India.
