This Straits Settlements Police swagger stick was owned by Mr Lall Singh, a Police Constable who served with the Sikh Contingent in Singapore from 1931 to 1946, when the Sikh Contingent was disbanded. It is a rare surviving example of items carried by the police here during this period.
