This goshuinchō (Japanese for book of seals) contains two stamps that were specially produced to commemorate the Fall of Singapore. The stamps depict General Nogi Maresuke and Marshal-Admiral Togo Heihachiro, and each features two lines of vertical text that read 'The Fall' and 'Singapore'. The goshuin (seals) around the stamps were obtained from temples and shrines.
