This is a landing permit issued by the Immigration Office to Ng Ah Moy upon her arrival in Singapore in 1947. This artefact is part of a series of documents that belonged to Mdm Ng Ah Moy, a Chinese immigrant who moved to Singapore with her daughter from Theng Hai, Swatow (now known as Chenghai District, Shantou, Guandong Province).
