This is a poster for the East Asiatic Company, advertising their passenger services between Asia and Europe. This poster was printed c.1934, which was the year the first ship from the company - the Jutlandia - sailed from Europe (departing from Southampton) to Singapore. The Jutlandia is noted for having carried the King and Queen of Denmark and Prince Valdemar to London for the Duke of Kent's wedding.
