Chinese book, ‘The Rubber Plantation’

This book, published by The Youth Book Company (新加坡青年书局), belongs to the ‘Singapore and Malayan Chinese Literature’ (新马文艺丛书) series. The author, Diao Wen Mei (貂问湄), born Wu Bing (吴冰), was a Malayan Chinese writer famous for his novels of criticism. ‘The Rubber Plantation’ depicts people working in a rubber plantation, the plantation’s owner and workers of different ethnicities.
