This Western-style sash was part of a dress outfit that was worn by a bride during a Chinese wedding tea ceremony.The donor, Mdm. Liong Tsing Ju is a Pu-Tian Fujianese who was married in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, on 8 May 1950. She settled down in Singapore with her husband and children in 1961.
