This is one of the four stamps issued as a set by Singapore Post to commemorate the opening of the Malay Heritage Centre. The stamps were issued on 31 May 2005 and feature aspects of Malay culture and heritage. This $2 stamp features the Bugis ‘prahu’, a ship used by early Malay fishermen.
