A vertical pillar with four facets is carved in relief with motifs such as half lotus, a bird with fruits and flowers growing out of a pot-bellied vase. The roundel below shows a bird fluttering amid stalks of lilies and lotuses while an antelope stands beside. On the other side of the upright, a similar bird with wings flutters, holding a bunch of beads or pearls in its beak. Both bird motifs are rather stylized but simplified. The artist seems more familiar with wood carving than stone, which allows for finer techniques.
