During his distinguished public service career, Mr Lim held ministerial positions in various ministries from finance, education, defence to environment. He was Chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisors and had also chaired various boards such as Port of Singapore Authority, Singapore Press Holdings and Monetary Authority of Singapore.The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) is a sovereign wealth fund established by the Singapore Government in 1981 to manage the nation’s foreign reserves.
