‘Puteri Gunung Ledang’ is a Cathay-Keris film directed by S. Roomai Noor. The film is about Sultan Mahmud Shah, who wants to marry Princess Gunung Ledang. The Sultan orders his men, Hang Tuah and Tun Mamat to represent the Sultan in asking for her hand in marriage. The princess accepts the proposal with the condition that seven bizarre requests are satisfied before the wedding.
