Born in Sarawak, actress Siput Sarawak has appeared in many hit films, some of which include ‘Singapura Di Waktu Malam’ (1947), ‘Mata Syaitan’ (1962) and ‘Keluarga 69’ (1967). She is the mother of Malay film actress, Murni Sarawak and famous Malay singer-entertainer, Anita Sarawak. Siput Sarawak passed away in 1999.
