This is a blue, long-sleeved cheongsam with an A-line shape. This is one of the earliest styles of cheongsams. It is loosely fitted and ankle-length while the sleeves are long and wide. It has black piping and is decorated with knotted buttons and loops known as frog buttons (花钮, hua niu), usually designed to match the patterns or trimmings of the cheongsam. The early loose-fitting cheongsams were androgynous-looking rather than feminine.
