This red, sleeveless, ankle-length cheongsam is made of silk damask. The collar, sleeves and flap on the right bodice are lined with white piping to serve as a contrast. It is also decorated with knotted buttons and loops known as frog buttons (花钮, hua niu) on the flap of the right bodice. This belonged to Mrs. Goh, the late mother of the donor, Mr. Goh Eck Kheng.
