The construction of the Million Buddhas Precious Pagoda, also known as the Kek Lok Si Temple, began in 1893 but was only completed in 1930. Besides a seven-tier pagoda, the temple also houses several prayer halls, shrines, gardens and a statue of the Goddess of Mercy. It is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia.
