Description
Did you know? Based on mid-19th century maps, pineapples were a popular fruit to grow in Telok Blangah!
From pineapple plantations to community memories, join us to uncover the rich layered heritage of Telok Blangah! Pull up a chair for a relaxed breakfast chat with a heritage expert and resident. Ask questions, share your own memories, and discover a side of Telok Blangah you may not have heard before!
Your stories will also contribute to a growing community archive that will be showcased at an exhibition in 2027, bringing Telok Blangah's heritage closer to the community.
This programme is part of HAN@Telok Blangah, presented by Participate In Design and supported by the National Heritage Board, as part of Heritage Activation Nodes.
