This book is a guide for the “Three Principles of the People” (San Min Zhu Yi 三民主义), which was the political philosophy and founding ideals of the China Kuomintang formulated by Dr. Sun Yat Sen. The book is one part of a three-part series training guide produced under the directive of the Republic of China prior to 1949. It is edited by the Singapore Three Principles of the People Youth Corps (San Ming Zhu Yi Qing Nian Tuan Zhu Xin Jia Po Qu Tuan Bu Bian Yin 三民主义青年团驻新加坡区团部编印). This book is printed by Nanyang Press (Nan Yang Yin Shua She 南洋印刷社) that operated from 1939 to the late 1950s. It was founded in 1939, after the merger of two publications – Nanyang Siang Pau (南洋商报) and Sin Kuo Min Jit Poh (新国民日报).
