This is a photograph of a Singapore Council for Adult Education teacher seminar at Telok Paku in April 1953. The seminar was organised for teachers to discuss English education for adults. The Singapore Council for Adult Education was created in 1950 to coordinate the activities of member associations providing adult education.Some of the individuals have been marked with a cross, with their names written on the reverse of the photograph.
