This photograph shows six Indo Eurasian women in sarong kebaya and three men posing on the terrace.With continuous improvement of camera technology, it became possible to take photographs outside a studio in the first decades of the 20th century. Many middle-class families collected photographs in albums as a way of documenting family life, or documentasi keluarga.
