This is a collection of thali pendants made in South India and Singapore. They include the traditional “m-shaped” pendant, the ammi or grinding stone shaped pendant, the pottu or hemispherical pendant, and the leaf shaped pendant. While the former are worn by Tamil communities like naidu and koundar, the latter two are more commonly worn by Malayalees.
