These are two demitasse sets (small coffee cups used to serve turkish coffee or espresso) from the Strand Hotel in Rangoon (Yangon). It was opened in 1901, and is a Victorian-style hotel built by the Sarkies brothers. They were part of the Raffles Hotel Collection.
