Portrait of Chung Thye Phin

Chung Thye Phin (1879-1935) was a successful businessman and Chinese community leader from Perak involved in tin mining and rubber plantations. In Perak, he served as member of the State Council, Justice of the Peace, and was made Kapitan Cina in 1921.
