TheatreWorks is an independent, non-profit theatre company in Singapore that was established in 1985. An innovative and progressive institution, one of its many initiatives is the Writers’ Laboratory, a programme which supports and nurtures local playwrights. The company also produces and promotes interdisciplinary and cross-cultural performances. TheatreWorks relocated to its current premises on Mohamed Sultan Road from Fort Canning Centre in September 2005.
