This shard was previously part of a Dehua porcelain bowl. It is decorated with moulded geometric designs and has a crazed white glaze. This bowl might be classified under ‘southern provincial wares’ or ‘minan ware’ (wares produced in south Fujian). These wares were made for domestic use or for export and their quality is generally of a lower standard.
