This dish is decorated with bold, floral designs in underglaze iron-black. The designs fill the centre and the interior of the rim, bordered by concentric lines around the rim and at centre.Kalong wares are characterised by their fine-grained, whitish bodies, wide bases and underglazes of broad strokes often with vegetal or floral designs. They are considered to be among the finest of all Thai ceramics.
