The sarong features a predominantly black fabric with blue accents, achieved by either re-dyeing blue with brown or using a black dye. It includes a central wide kepala and a hand-sewn batik connecting two parts of the badan, creating mirrored lotussen motifs. These motifs, prevalent in North Java, are believed to bring good fortune, particularly in marriages. Other design elements include wave motifs and sea creatures
