This is an ice cube tray which was likely produced in the 1950s to 1970s. Users pulled a lever to lift the dividers and release the ice cubes, allowing them to be removed from the tray. This device enabled the quicker removal and separation of cubes as compared to regular trays. The tray would have been used in a refrigerator, which became more common in homes in Singapore from the 1960s due to rising affluence.
