This is a photograph of Chinese High School’s principal Cheng An Lun with students during the school’s Teachers' Day Celebration in 1967. The school started celebrating Teachers’ Day to encourage the teachers after an incident in that same year, where the vice-principal Teh Kim Fatt was assaulted on campus by a group of expelled students.
